In modern times churches have increasingly become the focus for social and community life and they also attract visitors interested in their architecture and history, necessitating the provision of more sophisticated catering facilities than has hitherto been the case.
Whether such provision has been required within the ancient fabric of heritage buildings or in brand new visitor facilities, Treske have provided practical, durable and beautiful solutions in finely crafted hardwoods.
Treske designed and made 163 St Wilfrid chairs and armchairs, two Deacons’ chairs, one president’s chair, together with a lectern, six servers’ stools, six benches for the choir, four choir frontals and four choir readers.
In partneship with Ron Sims Architect, a new altar, glazed internal porch, side screens and a new servery, complete with fittings and appliances, were made and installed by Treske for this historic church.
New church furniture for the sanctuary, seating and reception areas was designed by Treske for Victoria Methodist Church, Bristol.
