Treske were commissioned to design and make furniture for the chapel, family and meeting rooms, and furniture for the café. The catafalque, lectern, flower stands, Howe 40/4 wooden seat and back chairs were all made for the chapel, while further tables with upholstered Howe 40/4 chairs were made for the café. Display cabinets, chairs and tables were manufactured for the meeting and family rooms.
Treske were commissioned to design and make bespoke crematoria furniture for the two chapels. Catafalques, adjustable height lecterns, sofa seating, upholstered seats and committal curtains were part of the commission.
Treske worked closely with St Helens Borough Council to provide the furniture and furnishings required for the refurbishment of the old Crematorium chapel and creation of a new smaller additional chapel.
Treske installed a catafalque platform, new curtain track motors and controller for the committal area, catafalque curtains, blinds to windows, oak upholstered seats chapel seating, frontals, a bespoke lectern and organ surround.
Treske supplied a new lectern with integrated controls and AV features, redesigned the catafalque base and developed a striking design style for the crematoria furniture. The oak benches with upholstered seats and frontals used the same design as the catafalque and reader.
Treske designed and manufactured an oak rise and fall catafalque and installed large triangular voile curtains in the gable end of the hall above the catafalque, inspired by yacht sails and Poole’s coastal heritage. Dress curtains in marine blue velvet complement 100 aquamarine upholstered Treske Harrogate chairs.
The new furniture consisted of a bespoke catafalque, console table, ambo-style lectern incorporating audio visual controls, and the main committal curtains and voile.

Individual designs of chair and bench seating, lecterns, sound audiovisual desks, catafalques, flower stands and soft furnishings and integrated controls are worked up into proposals for approval before their manufacture and installation.
