St Peter & St Paul's Church, Rustington
The Rustington parish church of St Peter and St Paul’s dates back over 1,100 years and probably to even earlier Saxon times with a church on the church site between the 7th and 10 centuries. The 13th Century Nave replaced the earlier Norman nave and along with the chancel is an important part of the 2015 reordering process, with Howe 40/4 chairs replacing the Victorian pews.
Treske worked on new choir furniture with Treske St Mary’s benches chosen for the choir seating with special bespoke choir frontals. For the chancel Treske also made clergy seating, a moveable lectern as well as a preaching lectern, a paschal candle stand, along with priests and servers seating. The centre piece of the work undertaken by Treske was the altar with its accompanying credence table.
